Abordaje retrosigmoideo

El abordaje retrosigmoide permite una exposición y control suficiente de todas las estructuras neurovasculares del ángulo pontocerebeloso.

Schwannomas vestibulares, trigeminales, quistes epidermoides, meningiomas de ángulopontocerebeloso. También su extensión a la región petroclival, pero sin inserción en la misma, pueden ser intervenidos por medio del abordaje retrosigmoideo.

La combinación de este abordaje tradicional con una variedad de petrosectomia posterior, abordaje presigmoideo, permite la combinación de corredores a la base posterior para alcanzar lesiones de una variada localización.
